As part of Life Saving Victoria’s National Water Safety Week, Paul Sadler Swimland hosted a range of activities to teach children and parents the importance of ‘Playing it Safe by the Water’. The focus was not only on pool safety but also on safety at rivers, beaches and all other watering holes. The children learnt to swim with life jackets and floatation devices, without goggles, and to understand the importance of swimming only under supervision. Although we practice water safety every single week, Water Safety Week gave the children a chance to apply what they have learnt in some practical scenarios.
