On 27 April 2011 Swordy’s Grand Draw was conducted. The instant winners of $5,000 were the Travis family, from our Hoppers Crossing pool. The Travis Family, who have two children in our program, were then invited to attend Paul Sadler Swimland Hoppers Crossing on 30 April and attempt to convert their guaranteed $5,000 into $50,000. The Hoppers Crossing management team, Paul Sadler himself and, of course, Swordy were there to congratulate the family and watch mum Belinda Travis try to convert the $5,000 to $50,000. Unfortunately Belinda didn’t pick the $50,000 prize, but the family were more than happy with their original $5,000. Paul Sadler and Swordy presented the Travis’ with their cheque amongst falling balloons and glitter on the pool deck. On behalf of all those involved with Paul Sadler Swimland, we would like to offer the Travis family our heartfelt congratulations and wish them ‘happy spending’.
