David Burgess will represent SSC in Sydney, April 2009 after qualifying for the National Age Championships in the 100 and 200 Breaststroke events.
Congratulations to DAVID BURGESS - SSC's first qualifier for the Australian Age National Championships. David qualified for the 100 Breaststroke with at time of 1:15.33 - which also earned home 1st place in the event at the Bayside Long Course Meet, held at MSAC on 19 October. He also qualified in the 200 Breaststroke at the Swimming Victoria December Competition on 29 November with at time of 2:43.23. David will represent SSC at SYDNEY OLYMPIC PARK AQUATIC CENTRE in the Australian Age Championships.
David has since competed at the Victorian State Age Championships posting PB's in the 100 and 200 BR of 1:14.74 and 2:42.03 respectively and placing 7th in the State in both the 100 and 200 Breast.
