SSC Membership Options
Potential SSC Members can choose to be either a Swimmer, a Recreational Swimmer, a Life Member or a Non-Swimmer.
Swimmer
$180 - Season 2011/2012
- Any member who competes in organised competition outside of club (eg. Interclub, District, State, National Competitions).
- Recommended for most SSC Members - this is the Membership Option held by the majority of SSC Members
- Includes the cost of Swimming Victoria registration of $92.50 for 2011/12, which usually provides access to accident insurance through Swimming Victoria as part of your registration (conditions apply)
- Allows swimmers to enter a wide range of meets (paid for separately on a meet-by-meet basis)
- Covers swimmer meet entry cost for Swimming Victoria interclub events (team relays) usually run in Winter and Spring each year (when available)
Recreational Swimmer
$135 - Season 2011/2012
- Any member participating in training in squads who wants to compete in club competitions only. (eg. Intraclub, Aggregate PB Series, SSC Time Trial Sessions)
- This level is for a child undertaking learn to swim or introductory training, who only compete in SSC club events, and no other organised meets
- Includes the cost of Swimming Victoria registration of $47 for 2011/12, which usually provides access to accident insurance through Swimming Victoria as part of your registration (conditions apply)
- Does not cover the meet entry cost into Swimming Victoria’s Interclub competitions.
Life Member
$12 - Season 2011/2012
- Any active life member of the club who is not registered in any of the other categories.
Non-Swimmer
$24 - Season 2011/2012
- Any member who does not fit into the above categories (ie. Committee members, coaches, SCO's or parents of swimmers.
- Includes the cost of Swimming Victoria registration of $24 for 2011/12
