The Deep end.

Where we reflect and celebrate.

“Somewhere behind the athlete you’ve become and the hours of practice and the coaches who have pushed you is a little girl who fell in love with the game and never looked back… play [swim!] for her.”

Age Nationals

This year, SSC sent a team of 3 of our swimmers to Age Nationals in Adelaide. Makayla, Hamish and Patrick represented our Club in true SSC style, with smiles and quiet determination all round as they competed with the best Australia had to offer.

Victorian SSV State Finals

With no less than seven of our swimmers making Victorian SSV State Finals and six of our swimmers competing in Victorian Schools Association Competition this year, our senior and junior swimmers are flying at schools meets. Often, for a lot of our swimmers, schools meets are their biggest events of the swimming calendar and we recognise and congratulate every swimmer who participates.

Our junior swimmers were spectacular at recent SSV State Finals. Emily, Renae and Nikita, all SSC swimmers, made up most of their school’s relay team and come away with a third place in the 9/10 girls relay. Wonderful work from our youngest swimmers.

Masters Swimming

As a registered Masters Swimming Club, we offer a training program tailored to every swimmer’s age, fitness and skill. We support Masters participation in competitive meets and many of our coaches, having retired from Age competitive swimming, move into a Masters competition program and open water swimming.
