Ideally, your child should attend a swimming lesson at least once a week to give them the best chance at progressing their swimming and survival skills, confidence, and coordination.

If you want your child to attend more than once a week, don’t worry, they can! We also have a holiday program that is available for any child seeking to swim and practice their skills more consistently throughout the school holidays. Just imagine the amount of progress they could make by swimming multiple times during the week!

While we do sometimes run certain swimming pool and facility maintenance during the holiday periods, we are still open for swim lessons!

Participating in this program is a great way for your child to accelerate their progress, and it’s also a fun activity to keep them entertained over their break. Even if your child isn’t currently participating in lessons, new students are always welcome in our holiday program.

Every swim program at Paul Sadler Swimland is run by a highly experienced swimming teacher. Not only do they have up to 200 hours of training under their belt before they start teaching lessons, but our teachers also receive ongoing training and support.

When teaching swimming and water safety skills to children and adults alike, our teachers also apply their extensive knowledge with kindness and patience to ensure each student feels comfortable as they learn.

Finding our Melton centre is simple using the Google Map on our website. If you are using a mobile device, you can use standard touch gestures to locate us. Simply double-tap or zoom in with your finger. From there, you can see our Raleigh Road entrance is just a short trip from the Melton Botanic Garden or the High Street shopping precinct. You can drag the map to see our proximity to local landmarks, ensuring you don’t miss the turn-off. You can choose between metric and imperial units for your distance settings, and the map will help you find the fastest way to the swimming pool so you can start your lesson on time.

At our pool we have a deck area specifically designed for families to watch and remain engaged during their child’s lesson.

This deck is typically around 27 degrees, so you can enjoy the experience, and has additional staff walking around to assist any teachers or help families navigate the facility, if required.

Our team possesses more than enough experience to help your child with any fears or hesitancy they have towards the pool and swimming. We will specifically work with your child to get past their fears but do so in an empathetic, understanding, and nurturing way.

We understand that a child who is upset and stressed has less ability to practice strokes and skills with coordination, so we work hard to help every child feel comfortable and entertained throughout the lesson. When there are low levels of tension there are higher levels of coordination, confidence, and independence, so we make sure to focus on how each child feels while in the water.

We’ve designed our portal to be user-friendly so families can manage swimming lessons on the go. To navigate your account, you can use a simple double-tap to select specific classes or hold a spot in our holiday program. On most devices, a finger drag or a home jump left gesture will help you move between the dashboard and the booking screen. This tech-forward approach allows you to quickly enrol, check your child’s progress, or find a makeup lesson without having to phone the centre every time.
