Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you focus on teaching deep water survival skills?

At Paul Sadler Swimland, zero drown toll is our goal.

We have programs that are centred on producing safer swimmers because we truly care about your children and their safety. At every level of our swim school program we make sure we teach survival skills as well as focus on development of correct strokes. We teach floating, treading water, blowing bubbles, deep water recovery, and water mobility to help swimmers feel more comfortable in the water and confident in their swimming abilities.

As parents, ensuring our children participate in regular lessons which focus on safer swimming is just a small thing we can do for our children. Why not join the swimming lessons Rowville locals love? Book with Paul Sadler Swimland Rowville today!

What kind of experience do your swimming school teachers have?

Our team all undergo comprehensive swimming training before they start to teach water safety skills or stroke development. While many swim schools only require their staff to do the basic 30-40 hours of training, our team goes beyond these qualifications and receives up to 200 hours of training.

As they teach lessons, our teaching team also receives extra support from staff on deck and continues to complete additional training hours throughout their career. They are dedicated to their teaching and approach their swimmers with empathy, knowledge, and kindness.

What classes do you have?

Every swimming class we offer includes a survival component. We focus on developing our swimmers’ deep water survival skills no matter their age or skill level because we believe that it’s important that everyone has the ability to save themselves if they are faced with a water emergency. Although we also help our swimmers with stroke development, survival skills are at the core of what we do.

Our parent/ child classes are offered for children aged 4 months to 3 years. We believe that it’s never too early to learn to swim, so we aim at making these classes not only informative, but also fun and entertaining for your baby or toddler.

Our learn to swim programs are for children above 3 years old and are also a great way for your children to learn life-saving water skills in a fun way. We also offer adult classes for adults of any skill level. At Paul Sadler Swimland, anyone can get involved with our survive program!
