Frequently Asked Questions

What facilities and equipment do you have?

At Paul Sadler Swimland Narre Warren we have:

  • Clean pools that are typically around 32 degrees
  • An automatic chlorination system to consistently monitor our water
  • A deck beside the pool so parents can remain actively engaged
  • Change rooms and rinse off showers
  • Baby change tables
  • A variety of teaching aids for our swim lessons
How important is it for my children to learn to swim?

Developing swimming and survival skills is super important for any child.

By regularly attending swimming lessons which focus on water survival skills and stroke development, your child will feel more confident in the water and be better prepared in the case of an emergency.

As soon as your child reaches 4 months old why not enrol them in our parent/ child program? Babies 4-5 months swim free with us, and starting swimming lessons early has had proven positive effects on a child’s development!

Are your teachers qualified to teach at a swim school?

Across our locations we teach approximately 25,000 children per week.

Before our teachers are given any lessons to teach, they must complete up to 200 hours of extensive training. This helps set us apart from other swim schools where the usual quantity of training that instructors receive falls around 30-40 hours. Our teachers also complete ongoing training throughout their career and have the support of other team members throughout each lesson.

When you enrol your child into our classes you’ll know they’ll be experiencing some of the best swimming lessons Narre Warren offers. Our teachers truly care about the progression of each child and will give them the attention and patience they need to learn and develop their skills and confidence. Your child won’t feel rushed as they learn, and there is never any pressure on progressing through the swimming levels at a certain pace.

What classes do you offer at Paul Sadler Swimland Narre Warren?

Across all of our locations we try our best to keep the type of classes we offer and the way we teach our lessons entirely consistent. When our founder Paul Sadler set up Swimland he applied the value of structured learning and the psychology of teaching into his swimming programs, and this practice still exists today. Without this strong methodology we would not have been able to become one of the leading learn to swim programs in the world.

At Paul Sadler Swimland Narre Warren, we offer swimming lessons for all ages and all skill levels. Even if you’re a beginner adult swimmer, we have a class just for you!
