Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I choose Paul Sadler Swimland Parkwood Green for swimming lessons?

While many swim schools focus on perfecting stroke styles and competitive swimming techniques, at Paul Sadler Swimland we emphasise learning survival skills.

We have programs for all ages and skill levels, and aim to give everyone maximum participation time during their swim classes.

Here’s more information regarding our specific programs:

Our parent/ child program or early swimming lessons are for babies and toddlers aged 4 months to 3 years and help build water confidence in small children. This program teaches young kids how to have a better chance at saving themselves in emergency situations. Regular swim lessons at this age have also proved to have the added benefit of helping children hit developmental milestones earlier.

We also have a big school swimming program which is unique to this location. We offer the swimming lessons Parkwood Green locals love!

Can my kids use goggles during their classes?

At Paul Sadler Swimland we provide a goggles licence to swimmers when they’re allowed to participate in their lessons with goggles.

The reason we don’t allow every child to use goggles, especially in the early levels, is because of water safety. We know that in the case of an emergency where a child accidentally falls into a pool, they are not going to be prepared or wearing goggles. By practising swimming and survival skills first without goggles, children will become more comfortable in the water, and will be less likely to panic when faced with an emergency situation.

What experience do your swim teachers have?

Swimmers are in great hands at Paul Sadler Swimland.

Our swimming programs and techniques have been developed and refined over the last 50 years since our founder Paul Sadler decided to try his hand at swim teaching. Now, even with locations around Australia, and Vietnam, all of our teachers have extensive training and experience that equips them with everything they need to be able to teach swimming lessons with great knowledge, patience, and empathy.

Do you have an adults program at your Parkwood Green location?

Our Parkwood Green location has a strong adults program that is perfect for adults of any skill level.

At Paul Sadler Swimland, we believe that no one is too old to learn how to swim. Book now with our adults program to develop your swimming and survival skills at your own pace with the support of our great team of swim teachers.

What cleaning procedures do you follow at your facility?

At every Paul Sadler Swimland location we follow the most up-to-date COVID-19 protocols, rules, and guidelines.

For the safety of our members, we also ensure that our water is constantly monitored by an automated chlorination system and checked by a team member every couple of hours.
